As we move into Autumn our bodies start to slow up and prepare for shorter days, colder nights and the inevitable excitement of the festive season. I feel at this time perhaps we should deliberate over the summer’s goings-on and achievements at Root2growth.
Workshops
Root2growth continue to develop and deliver our unique interactive board game approach Finance for Non-Financial Managers workshops. We offer 1-day workshops in and around Exeter giving you the confidence to make better business decisions and get a real grasp on the accounting process. Starting from the debits and credits all the way to a statement of profit & loss and a balance sheet.
Working breakfasts
In July Root2growth had the privilege of delivering a business breakfast session hosted by Exeter PA Network at Exeter Golf and Country Club. Thank you to everyone that attended and provided such positive feedback. “Ray certainly helped me think differently about finance and the marriage between strategy and budget setting”.
Xero training
Over the summer Root2growth became officially certified Xero advisors. This is an exciting time for us. We offer small to medium sized businesses 1:1 support and empowerment to across or simply better understand the capabilities, of this efficient and flexible move accounting software package. Empress Academy
Root2growth is excited to be a part of the team getting the Empress Academy off the ground. Founded by Kelly Forrester the Empress Academy aims to connect rising female leaders and executives in the Exeter area. Empress leadership days will be held a quarterly with world class speakers and immersive workshops to help members transform their business and personal achievements. You can follow us on Twitter.
Consultancy
We are proud to be working with some fantastic businesses in and around Exeter. We continue to help our clients in a number of areas, such as helping them improve their budgeting process, implement and document internal controls or working with them to better utilise the powerful capabilities of their cloud accounting software. More recently we have been working with a couple of our clients to support them in trialling and implementing WorkflowMax – a powerful project management tool that can be linked to Xero.
